| Mike Balsamo is not just the owner and operator of a superb auto service repair shop and has done superior work on our mobility vehicle, but my husband, who is a stroke victim and can only be transported by power chair which rides in a power lock and power ramp system in our car, was completely locked into the car last week unable to get out because the locking mechanism would no longer open up, therefore not enabling him to exit the vehicle in any way. I called Mike who told me to come over. We did and by looking underneath the power chair with flashlights, and using some heavy duty tools, but mostly manpower, he was able to pry the chair out of the mechanism. Once out, he put heavy duty grease into the entire floor locking system and also hammered down the levers which were no longer opening up and it now works again smoothly as never before. Then when I asked him how much I owed him, he said: "nothing" but that he would appreciate it if I gave him a Review on his website. He is a real "mensch" and an exceptional human being, knowing how desperate our situation was and that neither the police or AAA would have been able to help us, as my husband can only be hoyer lifted. All of the work he did on our mobility has been exceptional and this is extremely important as these converted vehicles cost a fortune and we would not be able to buy another one. We cannot thank him enough !!! |
